Job summary

Mizuho Pune is seeking a hands-on PingFederate Operations Engineer to support enterprise federation services and the global IAM program. You will maintain secure SSO, federation, and authentication services while onboarding applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring platform stability.

You will partner with IAM, Cybersecurity, and Audit teams to ensure compliance and continued platform reliability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, or Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, federation services, and authentication platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and related concepts.

Mizuho Global Services (MGS) is seeking a hands‑on PingFederate Operations Engineer to support the day‑to‑day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise federation services supporting Mizuho's global identity and access management program. The role is responsible for maintaining secure and reliable Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and authentication services while supporting application onboarding, operational support, troubleshooting, and platform stability.

The successful candidate will partner with IAM Operations, IAM Engineering, Application Teams, Infrastructure, Security, and Technology Operations teams to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant authentication services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support PingFederate and related federation services, ensuring platform availability, performance, and security.
• Configure and maintain SSO and federation integrations utilizing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and other authentication protocols.
• Support onboarding of new applications, APIs, cloud services, and business platforms into the enterprise federation environment.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, federation, certificate, metadata, and trust relationship issues while ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Manage federation partner configurations, application integration changes, certificate lifecycle activities, and platform maintenance activities.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, authentication transaction performance, and operational risks while supporting service‑level objectives.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, implementation standards, support procedures, disaster recovery processes, and knowledge articles.
• Partner with IAM Governance, IAM Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Audit teams to support compliance requirements, access controls, and security reviews.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, operational efficiency, and enhanced user experience.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supporting Identity & Access Management, Federation Services, Authentication Platforms, or related technology operations functions.
• Hands‑on experience administering PingFederate or comparable federation platforms.
• Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), WS‑Federation, and modern authentication concepts.
• Experience supporting Single Sign-On (SSO), federation integrations, identity providers, service providers, and authentication workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication issues, certificate management, trust relationships, metadata exchanges, and application integrations.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, cloud identity services, and enterprise authentication architectures.
• Experience with APIs, scripting, automation, and operational support processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Technologies: PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), REST APIs, ServiceNow, PowerShell, Python, Identity Providers (IdP), Service Providers (SP), and cloud identity platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting IAM operations within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with application onboarding, federation architecture, identity governance, and lifecycle management processes.
• Familiarity with CyberArk, SailPoint, privileged access management, or identity governance platforms.
• Experience with cloud identity platforms across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
• Certifications such as Ping Identity Certified Professional, Security+, SC-300, SC-900, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent
