Job summary

CPR certification and 2+ years of ICU/PICU experience are required, with fluency in Hindi and English. Knowledge of PICU equipment and paediatric patient handling is essential.

Qualifications

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing recognized by INC/TSNC.
• Minimum 2 years experience, 1 year ICU or PICU.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to converse in local language, Hindi and English.
• Knowledge of PICU equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions of pediatric patients by collecting all required information and records for treatment.
• Conduct rounds with the doctors.
• Monitor vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, temperature, weight) frequently.
• Communicate patient progress and treatment plans to other health care professionals.
• Initiate emergency treatment measures including infant resuscitation and advanced life support procedures.
• Perform physical examinations, auscultation of lungs, and check pulses in limbs.
• Prepare infants for feeding, including nasogastric feeding and tube feeding when required; change diapers as needed.
• Record patient symptoms, reactions to medications, and progress during nursing assessments.
