Job summary

Shifts are rotational with opportunities to participate in emergency resuscitation, ventilator management, and clinical audits. MBBS with DCH/MD/DNB in Pediatrics with 1+ year PICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MBBS with DCH/MD/DNB in Pediatrics is required.
• Minimum 1+ year of PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Manage pediatric emergencies and critical care cases.
• Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring.
• Manage ventilated and critically ill patients, including appropriate escalation of care.
• Perform and interpret relevant clinical investigations.
• Coordinate with pediatricians, consultants, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in emergency response, resuscitation, and stabilization of critically ill children.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection prevention practices.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, training, and departmental activities.
