Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognised institute.
• Registered with the state physiotherapy council where required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluate physical conditions, mobility, strength, flexibility, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and other techniques.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, post-operative, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, mobility, ergonomics, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist patients with mobility training, gait training and functional rehabilitation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
• Maintain patient safety, hygiene and professional standards.
• Provide home exercise programs and guidance for recovery.
• Participate in health camps and rehabilitation initiatives when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid registration with the applicable state/country physiotherapy council, where required.
• 1-6 years of relevant experience depending on the position.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Good clinical assessment and patient-handling skills.
