Job summary

Purview Services in Mumbai is seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our team. You will conduct patient assessments, design individualized rehabilitation plans, and apply therapies to orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions.

You will educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other clinicians to optimise recovery and outcomes. A compassionate, patient-focused approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid registration with the applicable state/country physiotherapy council, where required.
• 1–6 years of relevant experience depending on the position.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Good clinical assessment and patient-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluate physical conditions.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other appropriate treatment techniques.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, post-operative, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, mobility, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, assessments, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist patients with mobility training, gait training, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
• Maintain patient safety, hygiene, and professional standards during treatment.
• Provide home exercise programs and guidance for continued recovery.
• Participate in health camps, awareness programs, and rehabilitation initiatives where required.
