Role Description

The Physics Faculty Member will design and deliver high-quality physics instruction to students from various curricula (such as IB, IGCSE, A Level, CBSE, ICSE, and international boards), ensuring conceptual clarity and strong problem-solving skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, teaching in classroom and small-group formats, preparing learners for school assessments and competitive exams, creating and evaluating assignments and tests, and providing individualized academic mentoring. The faculty member will collaborate with other educators to align teaching strategies, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in faculty meetings and training sessions. The role also involves tracking student progress, maintaining accurate academic records, communicating regularly with learners and families, and supporting students in building long-term academic confidence and performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics across school and pre‑university levels, with the ability to teach core concepts, advanced topics, and exam‑oriented problem solving.
• Experience teaching Physics for multiple curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, AS & A Level, American, CBSE, ICSE, State Boards) and familiarity with competitive exam preparation (such as SAT, AP, NEET Foundation, IISER Foundation, and similar assessments).
• Proficiency in designing lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources that support diverse learning styles and foster analytical thinking and laboratory skills.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain an engaging learning environment.
• Comfort with educational technology and digital tools for instruction, assessment, and student progress tracking.
• Master’s degree or higher in Physics or a closely related field; a Bachelor’s degree with significant teaching experience may be considered.
