Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant will assist CTVS consultants by coordinating patient assessments, cardiac investigations, procedure preparation, post-operative care, and follow-up communication. This role requires understanding of CTVS workflow, critical care support, patient documentation, and coordination with ICU, OT, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and billing teams.

• Assist CTVS consultants during OPD, IPD, ICU rounds, and clinical reviews.
• Take patient history, record vitals, and support basic clinical assessment.
• Track ECG, echo, lab reports, imaging, procedures, and consultant instructions.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative CTVS patient coordination.
• Maintain clinical summaries, progress notes, handover records, and procedure documentation.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, and patient care teams.
• Escalate abnormal reports, critical values, or patient deterioration immediately.
• Assist in patient counselling regarding investigation and treatment flow under guidance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional clinical communication.
• Ensure smooth and safe CTVS care support.
