Heritage Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Roy, UT, is seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening, evaluating, and delivering rehabilitative interventions to geriatric and post-acute patients.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT – PRN

Heritage Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Roy, UT, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
