Job summary

Stellar World School in Mumbai invites an energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to plan and deliver age-appropriate PE experiences for EY and PYP students.

You will nurture gross motor skills, fitness and teamwork, while creating a safe, inclusive environment and liaising with homeroom and PYP teams to support interdisciplinary learning. Local candidates only, based in Andheri or Goregaon.

Qualifications

Stellar World School is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education experiences for students in the Early Years (EY) and PYP.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging PE lessons suited to different age groups and developmental needs.
• Develop students’ gross motor skills, coordination, fitness, movement, teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for physical activity.
• Observe and document students’ progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Collaborate with homeroom teachers and the PYP team to support interdisciplinary learning.
• Organise age-appropriate sports activities, events and games.
• Ensure effective use and safe maintenance of PE equipment and facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Physical Education, Sports or a related field.
