Job summary

Security Brigade in Mumbai is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to work on Lemon, their proprietary audit management platform that enhances cybersecurity engagements. Overview

Build and maintain Lemon — Security Brigade's proprietary audit management platform that orchestrates every penetration test, audit, and report we deliver.

Security Brigade is hiring a PHP Developer to work on Lemon, our proprietary audit management platform. Lemon is the spine of how we deliver every cybersecurity engagement — sales, scoping, project management, testing workflow, evidence capture, vulnerability tracking, reporting, and customer delivery, all in one system. Your work directly shapes how 700+ enterprise customers experience Security Brigade. The team runs Laravel + Symfony components on the back end, with jQuery / vanilla JS and a Bootstrap-derived design system on the front end. We pair every shipped feature with structured testing and code review, and we operate with the rigour of a SaaS product team because Lemon is, internally, a product.

What You\'ll Do

• Build new features and improve existing modules across Lemon — sales, scoping, project execution, vulnerability tracking, evidence management, reporting
• Work closely with our security testing teams to translate testing-workflow needs into platform features
• Maintain code quality through reviews, structured testing, and adherence to internal coding standards
• Optimise performance and database queries on a system that has years of accumulated audit data
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions and help shape the product roadmap
• Document features, schema changes, and operational runbooks for the team

What We\'re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional PHP experience, ideally with Laravel and/or Symfony components
• Familiar with MySQL — schema design, indexing, query tuning beyond basic select
• Comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu) and Apache deployment
• Working with Git in a team setting; able to hold up code review on both ends
• General understanding of project management workflows, bug-tracking, and CI fundamentals
• Comfortable in a fast-paced product environment with frequent deployments
