About The Opportunity

Industry: Information Technology & Services | Sector: Web & Mobile Application Development. We build scalable, production-grade web applications and SaaS platforms for clients across e-commerce, fintech, and enterprise markets. This role is for an on-site PHP Laravel Developer based in India to join a product-focused engineering team driving high-quality back-end delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend server-side features using Laravel and PHP following clean code and SOLID principles.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, versioned, and well-documented endpoints for web and mobile clients.
• Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL to improve performance and scalability; implement Eloquent-based data access patterns.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests (PHPUnit) and participate in automated CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, QA, and product owners to translate requirements into robust, maintainable functionality.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes while maintaining application reliability and observability.
