We are seeking an experienced PHP Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PHP, modern frameworks, software architecture, cloud technologies, and database design. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to define technical strategies, establish development standards, and mentor developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures.
• Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices.
• Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade PHP applications.
• Review system architecture and code to ensure quality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Drive cloud adoption, CI/CD implementation, and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in PHP development, Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter
• 3+ years of experience in software architecture or technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in PHP 8+, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Strong understanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or other caching/search technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and OWASP best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
