The Lead or an Architect is responsible for designing and implementing complex application functionality while contributing as a key member of an Agile development team. This role involves estimating and grooming backlog items, ensuring high‑quality, fully functional, and user‑friendly deliverables, and serving as a subject matter expert within a defined application area. The engineer will also guide other developers, review code contributions, and help resolve complex production and third‑level support issues.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain user interface components, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to estimate and groom backlog items, plan development work, and improve development processes
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to other developers
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned application areas
- Complete pull request reviews and approvals to ensure code quality and standards
- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug functional or technical issues
- Investigate and resolve third‑level production support requests
- Apply creative problem‑solving techniques to address complex technical challenges
- Ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards and are fully functional and user‑friendly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in web application development
- Deep expertise in Laravel and modern PHP development practices
- Proven ability to design and build robust RESTful APIs
- Strong front‑end development experience with Vue.js
- Proficiency in MySQL schema design and performance tuning
- Experience using testing tools such as PHP Unit or Cypress
- Experience leading initiatives or mentoring other engineers
- Familiarity with Node.js, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with other team members on complex initiatives.
