Job summary

BegetBiz in India seeks a hands-on videographer to capture high-quality video footage and photographs for social media, campaigns, brand content, and client projects. You will operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio gear, planning shoots and ensuring top-notch framing, lighting, and sound.

You will collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to storyboard and plan visual content, travel to locations as needed, and support on-site direction and coordination during shoots.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, or professional video cameras.
• Strong understanding of framing, composition, camera movements, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Good understanding of video and audio recording techniques.
• Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Photography skills with an understanding of composition, exposure, lighting, and image quality.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for handling on-field shoots, interviews, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical or production-related problems on-site.
• Willingness to travel locally for shoots and client projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shooting requirements.
• Candidates with their own professional or semi-professional camera, lenses, lighting and audio equipment, or other production gear will have an added advantage.
• A valid driving licence and ability to ride a two-wheeler will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage and photographs for social media, marketing campaigns, brand content, and client projects.
• Operate and maintain professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production gear.
• Plan and execute indoor and outdoor shoots while ensuring proper framing, composition, lighting, and audio quality.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualise, storyboard, and plan visual content.
• Handle on-location production setups and ensure all required equipment is properly arranged and functional.
• Assist with basic on-site direction, interview setups, and coordination during shoots.
• Capture professional photographs for social media, campaigns, events, products, and other business requirements.
• Understand different camera settings, lenses, frame rates, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and focus modes.
• Record clean and usable audio using appropriate microphones and recording equipment.
• Organise, label, backup, and manage raw footage and photographs for smooth handover to the post-production team.
• Coordinate with editors and provide necessary footage, references, and shoot-related information.
• Adapt to different shooting environments, locations, subjects, and lighting conditions.
• Stay updated with current cinematography, photography, social-media content, and visual storytelling trends.
• Contribute creative ideas for reels, advertisements, brand films, interviews, and other visual content.
• Travel to different locations when required for client and company projects.
• Ensure cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, lighting equipment, and other production equipment are properly maintained.
