Hanu Reddy Odyssey is seeking a creative Videographer/Video Editor to concept, shoot, and edit high-quality content across events, lifestyle, and real estate in Chennai. The role demands cinema‑style storytelling, reels, long‑form videos, and strong equipment handling.

You will operate cameras and gimbals, edit in Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve/Final Cut Pro, apply color grading and sound design, and stay ahead of social media trends while collaborating with marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional videography and editing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, audio hardware.
• Mandatory: excellent gimbal handling.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or After Effects.
• Solid color grading, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics.
• Fluency in short-form content trends (Reels/Shorts).
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social platforms from concept to delivery.
• Shoot reels, promos, events, interviews, brand films, and BTS across weddings, travel, luxury properties.
• Operate professional cameras and gimbals with strong composition.
• Edit with pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, and color work.
• Stay current on Reels/Shorts trends and translate into engaging concepts.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to meet campaign requirements and deadlines.
• Organize and maintain footage, project files, and content libraries.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative Videographer/Video Editor to conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality content across events, lifestyle, and real estate. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current social media trends, cinematic storytelling, reels, long-form videos, modern video production techniques, and equipment handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms from concept through final delivery
• Shoot Reels, promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, brand films, and behind-the-scenes content across weddings, travel, luxury properties, and lifestyle shoots
• Operate professional cameras and gimbals, with strong camera movement and shot composition
• Edit with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound design, color correction/grading, and motion graphics
• Stay current on Reels/Shorts trends, editing styles, and music/VFX trends, and translate them into fresh, engagement-driving concepts
• Collaborate with marketing/creative teams to meet campaign requirements and deadlines
• Organize and maintain footage, project files, and content libraries

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in videography and video editing
• Strong knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and video equipment
• Mandatory: excellent gimbal handling
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
• Solid grasp of color grading, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics
• Fluency in short-form content trends (Reels, Shorts) and ability to adapt quickly to new formats
• Comfortable in fast-paced settings.
• Strong attention to detail and eye for composition

Preferred

• Experience in events, weddings, travel, hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, real estate, or fashion content
• Photography skills
• A strong portfolio/showreel showing both shooting and editing
• Experience creating content for social media brands/campaigns
• Drone handling is an advantage.
