TATA 1mg is seeking a Phlebotomist to coordinate and perform home sample collection across Panchkula. You will ensure proper labeling, transport, and documentation while maintaining patient comfort and safety during procedures.

The role requires phlebotomy experience, knowledge of diagnostic protocols, and a customer-first mindset with basic computer operations. Two-wheeler and valid DL/LL are preferred for travel.

Qualifications

• 1–10 years of phlebotomy or related experience is desired.
• Blood collection techniques and proper sample handling knowledge are required.
• Strong communication skills and patient empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate home sample collection with patients and schedule visits.
• Visit patients’ homes to collect samples as per appointment times.
• Perform venipuncture or finger-prick and operate testing equipment.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and SOPs.
• Accurately identify patients and verify identity documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to coordinate home sample collection.
• Visit patients' homes to collect samples according to scheduled appointments.
• Collect samples and perform rapid testing when required.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately identify patients and verify identity documents.
• Perform venipuncture or finger-stick procedures.
• Use correct testing equipment to analyze samples.
• Label vials accurately and match specimens with the correct patient records.
• Prepare and package specimens for safe transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and test results.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure proper tagging and documentation.
• Follow biohazard safety and biomedical waste management protocols.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 1 to 10 years in phlebotomy or related functions.
