Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a PHE design engineer to oversee water supply piping, drainage, and firefighting system layouts across building projects in Bengaluru. The role involves sizing, layouts, and coordinating with architects, interior designers, and structural teams to ensure clash-free drawings.

The candidate will guide PHE designers and draftsmen, review BOQs and technical data, and contribute to DBR and specifications. Experience in PHE design and building services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of water supply piping with sizing and layout reviews for toilets, wash basins, scrubs, etc.
• Design of building internal drainage piping with sizing and layouts for soil, waste and storm water drainage in toilets, wash basins, scrubs, etc.
• Design of external drainage with sizing and layouts for soil, waste and storm water drainage.
• Review and guidance for material take off lists and measurement sheets for Plumbing & Fire Fighting BOQ.
• Review and design of water UG tanks and Overhead Tank layouts and sleeve layouts.
• Design and review of internal & external firefighting hydrant and sprinkler systems layouts and sizing.
• Coordinate drawings with other services (Plumbing, Fire Fighting & Electrical), HVAC for clash-free drawings considering false ceiling height.
• PHE space planning and routing design with coordination with Architect, Interior and Structural teams.
• Lead PHE designers and draftspersons, providing review and design guidance to the team.
• Prepare PHE DBR, technical specifications, PHE BOQ, and technical data sheets.

Job description

• 6. Design and review of layouts of firefighting internal & external hydrant and sprinkler system and fire pipe layout and sizing.
• 7. Drawing Co-ordination of with Other Services (Plumbing, Fire Fighting & Electrical), HVAC etc.) for clash free drawing with respect to false ceiling height
• 8. PHE space planning and routing design and co-ordination with Architect, Interior and structural team
• 9. Handling of PHE designers and draftsman team with review and design guidance to the team
• 10. Making of PHE DBR, Technical specifications, PHE BOQ, Technical data sheet etc.
