Job summary

Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL) through its M&C Drugstore is opening a Pharmacy Technician position to support pharmacists, manage prescriptions, and ensure accurate dispensing. The role emphasizes customer service and efficient operations within a growing multinational conglomerate.

The ideal candidate will hold a Pharmacy Technician certification or diploma, have familiarity with pharmacy software, and demonstrate strong attention to detail along with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technician studies (or equivalent).
• Five CSEC passes at General Level inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Label and package medications for distribution.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide support with professionalism and care.
• Support the pharmacist in administrative tasks and daily operations.

We are looking for a sales champion who shares our values to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory and providing excellent service to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

• Must hold a certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technician studies (or equivalent)


• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an asset


• Five CSEC passes at General Level inclusive of Mathematics and English Language


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Excellent communication and customer service abilities


• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
