Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacist with D Pharma/B.Pharm credentials.
• Experience interfacing with patients and medical teams is preferred.
• Wards, nursing stations, and census procedures familiarity is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, attendants, physicians with responsiveness.
• Assist doctors during rounds and medication administration with accuracy.
• Ensure ward staffing and proper documentation of census and admissions.
• Coordinate with disciplines during admission, transfer, discharge and cath lab/OT steps.
• Maintain supply chain of drugs and timely medication administration.
• Uphold infection control and biomedical waste management.
• Train nursing staff and ensure proper stock management.
• Ensure equipment calibration and proper working condition.
• Adhere to hospital policies and quality systems (QMS/EMS).
• Follow disaster management programme and patient safety policies.
