Job summary

Hlfppt in India is seeking a field operative to support doctors and field staff in implementing health projects. You will assist medical teams, distribute prescribed medicines, and maintain stock records.

You will conduct community sessions on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, RTI/STI, safe sex, and family planning, and ensure timely stock updates and dual-signature medicine submissions. You will enter patient data into MIS daily, prepare reports, and coordinate with the HO and field teams to

• Liaise with doctors and field staff for smooth coordination.
• Assist doctors and field staff for effective project implementation.
• Distribute medicines to patients as prescribed by the doctor.
• Record and maintain medicine stock details in the register.
• Conduct community sessions on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, RTI/STI, safe sex, and family planning.
• Maintain and update stock of medicines and strips.
• Enter patient data into the MIS software daily.
• Submit monthly timesheets to the reporting manager.
• Keep medicines systematically in the van and ensure timely submission.
• Collect/refill medicines from the HO as needed.
• Supervise procurement of office/MMU consumables and stock levels.
• Oversee project implementation and coordinate with donors and stakeholders.
• Prepare MMU movement schedules and ensure effective project activity execution.
• Prepare all project reports and documentation (technical, MIS, progress, field observations, case studies).

Responsibilities

• Distribute medicines to patients as prescribed by the doctor.
• Record and maintain medicine stock details in the register.
• Conduct individual and group sessions on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, RTI/STI, safe sex, family planning methods and other health related topics in the community.
• Maintain the stock of medicines and strips.
• Update medicine stock information in a timely manner.
• Reach and leave the Field Delivery Service Point (FDSP) on time.
• Ensure the submission of medicines in a timely manner with dual signature by the doctor.
• Enter data for all patients into the MIS software daily.
• Submit monthly timesheet to reporting manager.
• Keep medicines systematically in the van.
• Collect/ refill necessary medicines from the HO.
• Ensure no expired medicines are present in the stock.
• Supervise procurement of office and MMU consumables and maintain appropriate level of medicine stocks.
• Oversee overall implementation of the project and manage its technical, operational aspects including coordination with donor and other external stakeholders at the project area level.
• Prepare MMU movement schedule and ensure effective implementation of all project activities.
• Prepare all reports and documentation related to the project: technical reports, MIS reports, monthly progress reports, narrative reports, field observation and visit reports, collection and compilation of case studies and photographs, and process documentation of the project.
