The Phaco & Refractive Surgeon Ophthalmologist will manage cataract surgery, phaco procedures, refractive surgery evaluation, IOL counselling, and post‑operative visual outcome care at ASG Eye Hospital, Arrah. The position requires an MS, DNB, or DO in Ophthalmology with experience in phaco and refractive surgery and 2–7 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cataract and refractive surgery patients through clinical and diagnostic assessment.
• Perform phaco surgery and support refractive correction planning.
• Review refraction, corneal topography, biometry, IOL calculation, and diagnostic reports.
• Counsel patients about procedure options, IOL choices, risks, recovery, and follow‑up.
• Coordinate with OT, optometry, diagnostics, nursing, counselling, and patient care teams.
• Maintain surgical notes, consent forms, prescriptions, and follow‑up documentation.
• Monitor post‑operative healing, visual outcome, and patient satisfaction.
• Manage post‑operative concerns or complications promptly.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, OT discipline, and ethical standards.
• Provide safe, high‑quality, and patient‑centered surgical eye care.
