WITTY invites an experienced PGT Teacher - Business Studies to join its Malad campus in India. The role requires designing lesson plans that align with established school, national, and international curriculum models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Education required.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at PGT level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans which meet established school and national and international curriculum models.
• Adapts and reassesses lesson plans to meet student needs and update information.
• Manages diverse ability levels of students.
• Adapts curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining progress.
• Use ICT to enhance learning and support collaboration, content creation and communication.
• Possesses and updates knowledge of national and international curricula.
• Assesses and records student development and identifies areas for improvement.
• Provides a safe, positive learning environment for students.
• Communicates with staff engaging with students.
• Develop and maintain a learning-focused classroom.
• Implement restorative practices to encourage positive relationships.
• Assess learners as required by examinations and school procedures.
• Communicates with parents regularly about progress and discipline.
• Maintains order and discipline and ensures safety and compliance.
• Operate within school policies and practices.
• Cooperate to optimize use of resources.
• Attend continuing education seminars and school meetings on curriculum and guidelines.

Responsibility :

• Develops lesson plans which meet established school and national and international curriculum models.
• Adapts and reassesses lesson plans to meet specific student needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, and to update relevant information and include new developments in education.
• Manages the diverse ability levels of students.
• Adapts curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress.
• Use ICT to enhance learning to support collaboration, content creation and communication.
• Possesses and continually develops working knowledge of national and international curriculum programmes and frameworks.
• Assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement.
• Provides a safe, positive learning environment for students.
• Communicates with any and all other staff members who engage with students.
• Develop and maintain a learning focused classroom.
• Implement ‘restorative practice’ strategies to encourage positive relationships with all.
• Assess learners as required by examination bodies, departmental and school procedures.
• Communicates with parents as per school guidelines on a regular basis, including presenting student progress reports and informing parents of requisite student discipline.
• Maintains order and discipline among students while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines.
• Operate within the stated policies and practices of the school
