Job summary

UltraTech Cement in Rajasthan is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead safety observation rounds, incident reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will drive CFSA participation, Kaizen activities, and 100% closure of audit findings, ensuring zero harm wherever operations occur.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety observation rounds, near-miss reporting, Kaizen participation and closure of OFI.
• Pursue zero fatality, reduce incidents, develop safety procedures and close audit findings.
• Support DCM prep, monitor DCM, Fire Risk Audit and incident investigation quality.
• Promote safety through Fire Service Day, campaigns and mobile training for staff and contractors.
• Coach UTCL employees, safety stewards and contractors through training and initiatives.

• Self-Demonstrated Commitment: Conduct safety observation rounds, CFSA, near miss reporting, OPL/Kaizen participation, OFI reporting and closure.
• Safety Sustainability: Achieve Zero Fatality, incident reduction, safety procedure development, JCC reviews, committee participation and 100% closure of audit findings.
• Review Meetings & Compliance: Support DCM preparation, monitor DCM, Fire Risk Audit, RCN/BCN recommendations and incident investigation quality.
• Safety Promotion: Conduct Fire Service Day, Safety Campaigns, Mobile Van Training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Develop UTCL employees, safety stewards and contractor personnel through coaching, training and safety initiatives.
