Job summary

Infosys Quality Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a Performance Testing Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience. The role focuses on evaluating performance of web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems using LoadRunner and related tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum setup.

Strong scripting, analysis, and monitoring skills are required, with familiarity in ELK Stack and Oracle databases. Cloud basics in AWS/Azure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
• Hands-on LoadRunner experience for scripting, execution and maintenance.
• Experience with Web, Web Services and TruClient protocols.
• Knowledge of ALM/Jira/Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of LoadRunner scripting, correlation, parameterization, and result analysis.
• Performance testing of web applications, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Bottleneck identification and performance monitoring understanding.
• Execute tests, analyze reports, and document observations and recommendations.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack or similar monitoring tools.
• Basic Oracle database concepts including performance monitoring and SQL.
• Experience with QA tools like Quality Center/ALM, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Forms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure Cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with dev/test/business teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
