Job summary

SRS Infoway in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Lead to drive testing initiatives for web, API, and batch/ETL workloads. The role focuses on test strategy, script design, and robust reporting across on-prem and Azure cloud environments.

Job description

Professional Competencies and Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience in Performance Testing
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing web, Webservices/APIS, Batch/ETL jobs and corresponding activities
• Strong hold of LoadRunner and experience of working with multiple protocols.
• Experience in test strategy, test Design & reviews.
• Strong knowledge in Workload modelling, Test script creations, Reviews, Test execution, Analysis & excellent reporting Skills
• Creating/Validating the required test data and working in collaboration with the applicable teams for obtaining the same as required.
• Strong experience in debugging and analyzing the issues in Performance scripts, good knowledge on any of the APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace/NewRelic for analyzing the logs for any performance or generic issues. Fair knowledge of log analysis for Web/App and DB layers using any of the tools like Splunk/ELK
• Strong knowledge of doing performance testing in Azure cloud environment. Experience of performance testing the intranet/SharePoint application hosted on Azure cloud.
• Good expertise in designing & enhancing the LoadRunner scripts to handle different types of login authentications & authorizations (ADFS/SSO/OAuth2/Apigee etc.). Good knowledge of SQL, UNIX.
• Basic Knowledge in Java, DevOps
• Ability to lead and monitor testing tasks to closure.
• Participate in project meetings to understand functional and non-functional requirements and create test strategy.
• Integrate client feedback and ensure deliverables are according to agreed specifications.
• Participate in defect triages using knowledge of test execution process, test requirements and business criticality Knowledge and experience with SDLC lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of working with projects that follow Agile model/ methodologies.
• Should have strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills. Should have Strong leadership skills.
• Work in 2PM IST to 11PM IST shift.
