Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer with 8-10+ years of experience to lead performance testing across Agile product teams. You will design and run load tests for microservices and Azure-based apps, using JMeter, Gatling or equivalent, and embed tests in CI/CD pipelines.

You will analyze results with Grafana and Kibana, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to strengthen architecture and overall system performance.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of performance testing and engineering exp.
• Experience with Agile product testing and release processes.
• Hands-on Azure monitoring and DevOps experience.
• Experience in SQL Server, Oracle and any NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB and MongoDB).
• Experience with various test techniques and applicability/implementation.
• Comfortable with scripting in Java or Python.
• Proficient with load testing tools (JMeter preferred, plus LoadRunner/Gatling).
• Proficiency with monitoring/analysing performance using Grafana, Kibana, AppInsights.
• Experience perf testing cloud (Azure) apps/platform, microservices, Event Hubs/Service Bus.
• Understanding architecture design impact on performance (DB -> frontend UI, geo-dispersed).
• Proven experience load testing microservices/components and APIs.
• Implementing performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Good logical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Experience monitoring tools and correlating test results.
• Contribution to design/implementation of frameworks.
• Troubleshoot performance issues with cross-functional teams.
