Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a DevOps Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on cloud automation, IaC, and SRE practices across AWS environments. You will drive CI/CD design in Azure DevOps, manage Terraform modules, and ensure security, reliability, and cost optimization.

You will collaborate with global Cloud Architecture and Operations teams to standardize deployments, improve observability, and automate recovery. The role emphasizes cross-region failover readiness and on-call participation.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infra Automation roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, approvals, templates).
• Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Working knowledge of AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure security, IAM policies, and environment segregation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Support configuration management and drift remediation across cloud environments.
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Helm deployments.
• Write and maintain reusable Terraform modules and automation scripts in Bash and Python.
• Implement automated checks for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects and Operations teams to standardize build and release processes.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and configuration issues.
• Document CI/CD and IaC standards, patterns, and operational playbooks.
• Maintain reliability and availability for production workloads in AWS.
• Define and measure SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Automate recovery, scaling, and operational tasks via scripting.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Datadog, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• Partner with DevOps and product teams to strengthen release reliability and rollback automation.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience.

Role Summary

Engineering Manager with strong experience on DevOps, Cloud, Site Reliability Engineering. Manage a team of Engineers that will:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud automation pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and related scripting tools.
