Virtusa in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to analyze requirements and design robust test strategies. You will create and execute load, stress, and endurance tests, and monitor system performance to ensure scalability.

You will collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and deliver actionable recommendations, while maintaining test scripts, data, and dashboards. 7-10 years of hands-on experience is preferred.

• 7–10 years of hands-on performance testing experience.

• Analyze business requirements and prepare performance test strategies and test plans.
• Design and develop load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability test scripts.
• Create virtual users and simulate real-world user traffic.
• Execute performance tests and monitor application response times, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory, and database performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and server components.
• Analyze test results and prepare performance test reports and recommendations.
• Work with developers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to resolve performance issues.
• Perform baseline testing, capacity testing, and regression performance testing.
• Configure test scenarios, workloads, think times, ramp-up periods, and test durations.
• Maintain test scripts, test data, test environments, and performance dashboards.
• Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, and release readiness assessments.
