Performance Marketing Manager
About the role
Medikabazaar is India's largest B2B healthcare marketplace and supply-chain platform, serving hospitals, clinics, labs, dental practices and retail pharmacies across India, with international markets opening up. We are hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to own paid acquisition end to end across Google Ads, Meta Ads and every other paid channel, and to scale paid-channel revenue 10x.
This is a hands-on, go-to role: you decide which products and categories to push, who to target, what the ads and keywords say, and when to scale. You will be the first person anyone in the business calls when a campaign needs to launch.
Title - Performance Marketing Manager
Location - Mumbai, on-site
Reports to - CTO
Experience - 5 - 7 years in performance marketing, with both B2B and B2C exposure
Scope - Marketplace, Chemist and Hospital businesses; India and international markets
What you will own
- Run Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) and other channels such as LinkedIn, Amazon/marketplace ads, programmatic and affiliates, from account structure to daily optimisation.
- Decide what to advertise: mine catalogue, sales and search data to pick the products and categories with the best margin, demand and conversion potential, and build the campaign calendar around them.
- Define who we target: build audiences for hospitals, clinics, labs, dentists, chemists and individual practitioners; use first-party data, lookalikes, retargeting and geo/intent signals; manage exclusions and frequency.
- Own keywords and creative: keyword research, match types, negatives and bid strategy; write ad copy; brief and iterate on static, video and catalogue creatives with the design team.
- Be the launch owner: when any business unit needs a campaign, you scope it, set it up, QA tracking and landing pages, launch it and report on it.
- Scale revenue: grow paid-channel revenue 10x while holding ROAS and CAC targets, by expanding channels, markets and categories and by running structured experiments.
- Measure everything: own GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion APIs, UTM discipline and attribution; build weekly dashboards on spend, ROAS, CAC, revenue and new-vs-repeat customers.
- Manage budgets and partners: plan and pace monthly budgets across channels and markets; work with Google and Meta account reps and any agencies.
What we are looking for
- 5 - 7 years running paid campaigns hands-on, with proven results in both B2B (lead-gen or marketplace) and B2C (e-commerce or D2C) businesses.
- Track record of scaling a paid programme several-fold while improving ROAS or CAC; you can walk us through the numbers.
- Expert in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager; working experience of at least two other channels (LinkedIn, Amazon Ads, DV360 or programmatic, affiliates, WhatsApp or SMS marketing).
- Strong analytical skills: fluent in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio or similar, and comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL is a plus.
- Commercial judgement: you can read a catalogue and a P&L, choose which SKUs and categories deserve spend, and say no to the ones that do not.
- Good copywriting instinct and a feel for what creative converts; able to brief designers clearly and test fast.
- Comfortable with tracking plumbing: pixels, conversion APIs, feeds, landing-page QA.
- Self-directed and fast: you launch in days, not weeks, and you own outcomes rather than tasks.
- Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications are nice to have; experience in healthcare, pharma or industrial B2B e-commerce is a plus, not a requirement.
What success looks like
- First 30 days: audit all existing accounts, fix tracking, restructure campaigns, and ship a prioritised product and category list with a quarterly campaign calendar.
- First 2 months: new channels live, international campaigns launched, weekly performance dashboard in place, paid revenue at least 3x the starting baseline.
- First 6 months: paid-channel revenue at 10x the baseline at or better than target ROAS, with a repeatable playbook for launching any campaign within a week.
Why join
- Own paid growth for a category leader with a large, under-penetrated market and real budget behind the mandate.
- Work directly with the CTO and business heads; decisions are fast and data is open.
- An AI-native team: cataloguing, SEO, GEO and product imagery already run on AI, and you will have the same tools for ads and creative.
