Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Bangalore is seeking a Performance Engineer to lead PnV initiatives for on-prem and cloud migrations. You will design strategies, define tests, and drive optimization of NFRs with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7–10 years of hands-on performance engineering, expertise with K6, APM tools, and strong leadership to govern best practices and ensure scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on performance engineering experience.
• Ability to lead PnV strategy, planning, execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Performance and Validation initiatives, including strategy, planning, execution and reporting.
• Develop and implement PnV strategies aligned with NFRs.
• Analyze and validate NFRs to meet performance, scalability and reliability goals.
• Design and execute load, soak/endurance, and scalability testing.
• Create workload models and optimize PnV test cycles.
• Produce detailed performance test reports with recommendations.
• Develop and maintain scripts for business workflows and test data.
• Collaborate with development, infra, and architecture teams to resolve bottlenecks.

Role: Performance Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Notice: Immediate-15 Days

Exp: 7- 10 years

(PnV) Lead Role:

Experience: 7 to 8 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Performance and Validation (PnV) initiatives, including strategy development, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and implement comprehensive PnV strategies aligned with business objectives and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Analyze, interpret, and validate NFRs to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability objectives are met.
• Design and execute various performance testing activities, including:
• Load Testing
• Soak/Endurance Testing
• Scalability Testing
• Create workload models and optimize PnV test cycles to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Produce detailed performance test reports, providing analysis against defined NFRs and recommendations for performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain scripts for business workflows, including recording, scripting, debugging, correlation handling, and test data management.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms in performance testing environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive performance testing best practices, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
