Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduation (BE/B.Tech) in Mechatronics/ Electrical / Instrumentation from a Tier 1 & 2 College.
• 6-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on expertise on PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, Servo drives, and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Programming & troubleshooting: advanced fault-finding, modification, and optimization of PLC programs and HMI/SCADA configurations.
• Motion Control Systems: manage, parameterize, and troubleshoot servo drives, motors, and VFDs.
• Electrical & Instrumentation Troubleshooting: read drawings to trace, calibrate, and repair field instrumentation, sensors, and control panels.
• Low-Cost Automation (LCA): identify bottlenecks and deploy LCA strategies to reduce manual intervention and energy use.
• Projects: support installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of new machines.
• Technical Coordination: with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors for support and upgrades.
• Support machine upgrades, line modifications, and integration with existing control systems.

Responsibilities of Senior Executive – Plant Automation & Instrumentation

• Programming & troubleshooting: Perform advanced fault-finding, modification, and optimization of PLC programs (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA configurations.
• Motion Control Systems: Manage, parameterize, and troubleshoot high-performance Servo drives, motors, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Electrical & Instrumentation Troubleshooting: Read complex electrical drawings and schematics to safely trace, calibrate, and repair field instrumentation, sensors, control panels, actuators, switchgear, and safety circuits.
• Low-Cost Automation (LCA): Identify bottleneck areas across production lines and conceptualize, design, and deploy Low-Cost Automation strategies to reduce manual intervention, boost cycle times, and optimize energy efficiency.
• Projects: Support the installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of new machines.
• Technical Coordination: with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors for technical support, upgrades, and project execution.
• Support machine upgrades, line modifications, and integration of new equipment with existing control systems.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication & inter-personal skills. Hands-on expertise on PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, Servo drives, and industrial communication protocols, etc.
