Perfetti Van Melle in Chennai seeks an Associate Manager – PPD/NPD to drive project management from concept to launch, coordinating with marketing, mfg and SCM teams.

You will oversee NPD trials, ensure timely development, and manage SAP BOMs and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with R&D for technology transfer and trials reporting. Degree in food tech/science with confectionery experience is desired.

Formación

• Graduate in Food technology/science or chemical/dairy tech with relevant postgraduate preferred.
• Experience in confectionery product development and flavors applications.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint for documentation and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison with local marketing for project management, Gantt charts, NPD updates, and samples sharing.
• Schedule and complete all NPD trials with local manufacturing team coordination.
• Coordinate with production and SCM for commercialization of NPDs.
• Interact with Group R&D for technology transfer and trials reporting.
• Create NPD documents and upload BOMs in SAP.
• Own stability testing and regulatory compliance for relevant products.
• Participate in GMP and food safety audits and maintain product quality awareness.

Associate Manager – PPD/NPD

Job Location: Chennai

Description

Role & responsibilities

• Liaison with local marketing team for overall project management like preparing Gantt charts, NPD meeting updates and samples sharing.
• Scheduling and completing all NPD trials in a timely manner in coordination with local mfg. team.
• Coordinate with production and SCM teams for commercialisation of NPDs
• Regularly interact with Group R&D team for technology transfer and trials reporting.
• Creating documents related to NPD and uploading BOMs in SAP.
• Ensuring ownership of stability testing and regulatory compliances for relevant products.
• Ensure participation in GMP, Food Safety internal audits and have awareness about quality of products.

KRA

• Leads recipe development as per marketing brief.
• Ensure material connectivity and flawless execution of industrial trials.
• Maintain R&D documentation like PDR recipes, Stability tests, decay study etc.
• BOM updates on SAP Ensure timely availability of RM codes and SFG codes for NPDs.
• Executing BOM budgeting exercise.
• Ownership of NPD labs : Ensure right equipment and man power allocation as per project priorities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualifications – Graduate in Food technology/Science, Chemical Technology or Dairy Technology. Post graduate in Food Technology (Desirable).

• Product development in confectionery and allied industry.
• Worked with flavors applications.
• Application of SAP, Fluent with Power point and MS Excel.
