Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Process Eng Junior Engineer at the Channo Plant in Punjab. The role focuses on packaging equipment maintenance, machine reliability, preventive maintenance, and automation support to reduce breakdowns and drive TPM initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in engineering or packaging maintenance, with BE or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Mechanical fields. SAP/ARIBA exposure and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Engineering / Packaging Maintenance.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for driving packaging equipment maintenance, machine reliability, preventive maintenance, automation support, breakdown reduction, spare parts management, TPM initiatives, and continuous improvement programs within the manufacturing environment.

Key Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Engineering / Packaging Maintenance
• FMCG manufacturing experience preferred
• BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with automated packaging lines and packaging machinery
• Strong exposure to preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, RCA, and machine reliability
• Knowledge of SAP/ARIBA, spare parts planning, and inventory management preferred
• Exposure to TPM, EHS, Quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
