Job summary

InfoBeans, a Mumbai-based IT services company, seeks an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Absence Management and India Payroll to lead full lifecycle implementations. You will design, configure, and support Core HR, Absence, and Payroll modules while ensuring alignment with business needs and Indian statutory regulations.

This role requires hands-on delivery across discovery, fit-gap analysis, design, testing, and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• Strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft HCM with focus on Absences and India Payroll.
• Experience with full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations and configuration workbooks.
• Knowledge of Indian statutory payroll requirements and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full PeopleSoft HCM implementation lifecycle from discovery to post-go-live support.
• Configure Core HR, Absence Management, and Global/India Payroll modules.
• Ensure compliance with Indian payroll regulations (income tax/TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax).
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and prepare functional design documents and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, data conversions, and customizations.
• Plan system testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration/validation.
• Provide guidance during cutover, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing production support.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Absence Management and India Payroll to lead full lifecycle implementations. In this role, you will design, configure, and support Core HR, Absence, and Payroll modules while ensuring alignment with business requirements and Indian statutory regulations.

What will your role look like

• Lead the full PeopleSoft HCM implementation lifecycle, including discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Configure and support PeopleSoft Core HR, Absence Management, and Global Payroll / India Payroll modules.
• Ensure strict compliance with Indian statutory payroll regulations such as Income Tax/TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and statutory reporting.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, prepare functional design documents, test scenarios, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, data conversions, interfaces, extensions, and customizations.
• Plan and execute system testing, user acceptance testing, parallel payroll runs, and data migration/validation.
• Provide functional guidance during cutover, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing production support.

• In-depth knowledge of Indian statutory payroll requirements, including PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, and Gratuity.
• Proven experience with full-lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations, configuration workbooks, and test scenario execution.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, process mapping, and documentation skills.
• Awareness of PeopleSoft HCM updates, PUM images, patches, and evolving Indian payroll legislation.
