Job summary

Cognizant in Chennai is seeking an experienced Techno-Functional consultant to work on PeopleSoft FSCM modules (GL, AP, PO, AM, TE, AR) with strong SQL/PS Queries and SDLC experience.

The role requires hands-on IC work, managed service exposure, and a finance-focused mindset to deliver accurate business solutions within timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Techno-Functional experience as a consultant or analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience in PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR.
• Good knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 8.x or 9.x applications, including GL, AP, PO, AM, TE & AR modules.
• This position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet deadlines and end user expectations.
• Should be willing to work hands-on and IC (Independent Contributor) role.
• Having worked on Managed service projects covering the above given modules.
• Having a strong understanding of finance functional process knowledge on the above modules.
• Having a moderate working knowledge on SQL queries and PS Queries.
• Having a strong understanding of standard development methodologies (Systems Development Life-cycle) in both maintenance and implementation organizations;
• Having a strong skills in gathering and documenting business requirements for systems enhancements, performing fit/gap analysis, and writing functional or technical specifications based on requirements;
• Proven skills in quality assurance, including creation of testing scripts and test execution;
• Diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft related issues to ensure the accuracy of business systems. Interact with business system users and understand the requirements, providing best possible solutions co-ordinate for development, test and delivery.
