Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a seasoned ETL developer in India to design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Pentaho Kettle. You will collaborate with analysts and developers to derive data requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions, while monitoring performance and data accuracy.

You will also create data models and ER diagrams, document changes, and troubleshoot issues in data integration. A strong grasp of Agile practices and experience with large codebases is essential for

Qualifications

• 6-9+ years of experience in design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and task management.
• Experience working on large and complex codebases.
• Knowledge of data handling and data integration concepts.

Job description

• 6-9+ years of experience on design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Pentaho Kettle.


• Collaborate with Business Analysts and other developers to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions.


• Monitor and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and performance.


• Create and maintain data model, ER diagrams, and other documentation.


• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ETL processes and data integration.


• Participate in cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and projects.


• Provide software solutions to technically challenging business requirements.


• Strong knowledge of data handling, ETL etc.


• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.


• Ability to manage complex projects and follow through on tasks.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and task management.


• Good understanding of Agile methodology and development. Should have worked as a DevOps engineer in of one the previous role.


• Worked on large and complex code base


• Technical knowledge of Reconciliation domain product & using the vendors application tools and customize the user interface screens, system workflow and database structures to meet business requirements.
