Job summary

ANG Placement & Staffing Solutions PVT LTD is seeking a senior pediatrician with MD/DM qualifications to lead clinical care for neonates to adolescents. The role involves managing IPD, PICU, NICU and newborn care with rapid intervention and close team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in pediatric care, proficiency in emergency resuscitation, infection control, EMR documentation, and the ability to communicate effectively with families.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD/DM in Pediatrics or equivalent.
• 4–5 years hands-on pediatric clinical experience in IPD, PICU, NICU.
• Experience in neonatal resuscitation, sepsis, respiratory distress.
• Proficient in pediatric assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Experience with ICU equipment and EMR documentation.
• Knowledge of infection control, vaccination schedules.
• Excellent communication with parents and caregivers.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, on-call.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric clinical assessments and diagnoses from neonates to adolescents.

• Conduct thorough pediatric clinical assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for patients ranging from neonates to adolescents.
  
• Manage complex medical cases in IPD, PICU, NICU, and newborn care units with emphasis on rapid intervention and stabilization.
  
• Lead and participate in neonatal and pediatric emergency response protocols, including resuscitation, trauma management, and critical care.
  
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, adjusting interventions based on real-time patient response and clinical progress.
  
• Perform continuous patient monitoring using advanced clinical tools and vital sign tracking systems.
  
• Maintain precise and compliant medical documentation, including daily progress notes, treatment summaries, and discharge reports.
  
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries with follow-up instructions, medication regimens, and referrals as needed.
  
• Stay current with national and international pediatric clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or equivalent).
  
• Minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on clinical experience in pediatric care, with demonstrated expertise in IPD, PICU, NICU, and newborn care.
  
• Proven experience in managing pediatric emergencies, including neonatal resuscitation, sepsis, respiratory distress, and critical illness.
  
• Strong proficiency in pediatric clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning.
  
• Expertise in patient monitoring systems, ICU equipment, and electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
  
• In-depth knowledge of pediatric infection control protocols, vaccination schedules, and preventive care guidelines.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to parents and caregivers.
  
• Ability to work under pressure, manage high patient volumes, and maintain composure during emergencies.
  
• Valid medical license and registration with the State Medical Council and NMC (National Medical Commission).
  
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
