Job summary

Alpauls in Bangalore is seeking a PED Engineer to support machining and assembly of metal, plastic, and composite parts for medical equipment and machine tool industries. You will handle PPAP/APQP documentation, GD&T inspections, and SolidWorks modelling, collaborating with production, quality, and procurement. Diploma/BE in Mechanical with 3-6 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical engineering.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in PED engineering.

Responsibilities

• CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Machining knowledge to support design and production.
• Maintain PPAP & APQP documentation for projects.
• Apply GD&T and quality inspection methods to parts.
• Perform SolidWorks modelling and assembly for components.
• Oversee shop floor tooling, jigs, fixtures, and work holdings.
• Utilize MS Office 365 for reporting and documentation.
• Conduct DFM analysis during design reviews.
• Select appropriate tools and fixtures for manufacturing.
• Validate processes to ensure quality and repeatability.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement for project execution.
