Job summary

Broadcom, Inc. is seeking a PCIe Design Engineer to join the ASIC Product Division in Bengaluru. The role focuses on PCIe subsystems and SoC development, requiring deep expertise in digital ASIC design, micro-architecture, and RTL coding.

You will work on PCIe Gen6/7, PIPE protocols, and related silicon bring-up activities. The position demands 14+ years in VLSI, strong debugging skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/VLSI with 14+ years in VLSI design and architecture.
• Strong fundamentals in digital ASIC design, micro-architecture, and RTL coding.
• Expertise in PCIe Gen6/7 and PIPE protocols.
• Knowledge of PLLs, Serdes, AMBA and serial protocols, DMA, memory, processors, and silicon bring-up sequences.
• Strong design, emulation, and silicon debug skills.
• Ability to provide timely solutions to design problems.
• Customer support with excellent communication and oratory skills.
• Expertise in Synthesis, constraints, timing closure, and equivalence checks (Formality/Conformal).
• Experience in Lint/CDC/RDC tools

Responsibilities

• Contribute to PCIe subsystems and SoC development.
• Perform synthesis, timing closure, and formal verification tasks.
• Assist silicon bring-up and root-cause debugging.
• Provide timely design solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support customers with technical guidance and issue resolution.
