Job summary

Catalyx Space, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled PCB Designer to develop high-speed digital and RF boards for satellite and space communication hardware, working closely with system architects, RF engineers, and embedded teams.

You will focus on FPGA breakout and BGA fanout, RF layout (controlled impedance, isolation), and power integrity, using Altium Designer or KiCad, with hands-on experience in Xilinx/Intel FPGAs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PCB design with projects involving FPGAs and RF subsystems.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad
• Strong understanding of high-speed design and routing techniques
• RF layout techniques (controlled impedance, matching networks, isolation)
• Power supply design and decoupling strategies
• FPGA breakout and BGA fanout techniques
• Experience working with Xilinx, Intel, or similar FPGAs
• Familiarity with simulation tools for signal integrity, thermal, and power analysis.

You will play a critical role in the development of mission-critical electronic systems for satellite and communication hardware, working closely with system architects, RF engineers, and embedded teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in PCB design with projects involving FPGAs and RF subsystems.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad
• Strong understanding of high-speed design and routing techniques
• RF layout techniques (controlled impedance, matching networks, isolation)
