Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking an experienced PCB design engineer to develop automotive electronics PCBs from concept through mass production. You will review schematics, optimize layouts for high-current, EMC/EMI, and thermal performance, and prepare manufacturing documentation for seamless production transfer.

Collaborating with Production, Quality, R&D, and suppliers, you will evaluate materials, manage ECO/ECN, and support prototyping, testing, and issue resolution to ensure robust

• Experience in automotive/EV electronics and PCB development.
• Knowledge of high-current PCB design, EMC/EMI, thermal design, PCB fabrication/assembly, and mass production support.
• Good problem-solving skills with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end PCB design and development for automotive electronic products, from circuit review and layout to testing and mass production transfer.
• Review schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring accuracy and proper circuit integration.
• Design PCB layouts considering component placement, routing, power/ground, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
• Prepare and manage Gerber files, BOM, Pick & Place data, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documents.
• Support PCB prototyping, SMT assembly, board bring-up, functional testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D, and suppliers to resolve PCB-related issues during development and mass production.
• Evaluate PCB materials and components based on technical suitability, cost, lead time, and availability.
• Manage ECO/ECN, design revisions, configuration control, and release documentation.
