Job summary

Softobiz is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate complex requirements into clear specifications. The role focuses on automating processes, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions across product and data teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.

You will document BRDs/FRDs, create user stories, participate in workshops, and drive UAT and adoption activities while leveraging modern digital technologies.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Expertise in preparing BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Gap Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, Data Teams, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and solution evaluations.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Define business processes and recommend process improvements utilizing modern digital technologies, including AI where appropriate.
• Support product development lifecycle from ideation through deployment.
• Participate in UAT, validation, and user adoption activities.
• Track project progress and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
• Prepare business cases, process flows, BRDs, FRDs, and solution documentation.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, reporting, and business insights.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of APIs, Microservices, and System Integrations.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis concepts.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, and Product Development methodologies.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, or similar tools.

Data & Analytics

• Understanding of data models, data mapping, and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience interpreting data and generating actionable business insights.
• Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools.
• Experience leveraging AI-driven analytics and reporting capabilities is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
