Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Payments SME with 8+ years of experience in Banking and Payments. The role focuses on ACI MTS to Finacle modernization, with exposure to high-value payments, Fedwire, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.

You will work across agile teams, support SIT/UAT, and coordinate cutover activities while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of experience in Banking & Payments domain with expertise in high-value payments and messaging standards.
• Experience in payment modernization projects and migration from legacy hubs to modern platforms.
• Strong business analysis skills, including BRD/FRD, and RTM management.
• Hands-on knowledge of payment lifecycle management and settlement processing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and dev teams to drive solution delivery.
• Support SIT, UAT, production validation and cutover planning.
• Assist post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and AML requirements in payments processing.

Job Description:

Payments SME - ACI MTS to Finacle Payments Modernization

• 8 to 15 years of experience in Banking & Payments domain with expertise in High-Value Payments, Fedwire, SWIFT, CBPR+, and ISO 20022 messaging standards
• Experience in payment modernization and migration programs involving legacy payment hubs such as ACI MTS and target platforms such as Finacle Payments
• Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, BRD/FRD preparation, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and RTM management.
• Hands-on knowledge of payment lifecycle management including routing, exception handling, investigations, returns, reconciliations, and settlement processing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment with proficiency in Jira, Confluence, backlog management, user stories, and sprint ceremonies.
• Exposure to API integrations, payment interfaces, file-based integrations, and payment hub architecture.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, product vendors, and development teams to drive solution delivery.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production validation, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, AML, sanctions screening, and audit requirements within payments processing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills with experience working in large-scale US banking transformation programs.
