Job description

KPMG is hiring experienced Functional Business Analysts with strong expertise in payments and global banking to support large-scale payment transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Strong payments domain knowledge including MT/MX messages, ISO 20022, SWIFT, cross‑border payments, clearing & settlement, and full payments lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end payment flows and systems such as GPP, Volpay, C2P, T24, etc.
• Minimum 7+ years of functional Business Analysis experience, with exposure to 1–2 major payment transformation projects.
• Ability to prepare BRD, FRD, support MX migration, and drive process improvements.
• Proven experience working with global banks only (Indian banking experience not applicable).
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across geographies.
• Purely functional BA role (technical profiles not considered).
• Notice period: Less than 45 days.
• Work model: 5 days WFO / hybrid as per business needs; open to client travel.
• Interview process: 2 technical rounds (KPMG) + 1 client round + HR discussion (virtual).
• Candidates who applied to KPMG in the last 6 months are not eligible.
• HSBC no‑poach: Ex‑HSBC candidates allowed if last 2 employers are not HSBC.
• Relocation is open.
