Job summary

Annexmed Pvt Ltd is seeking a Payment Posting specialist in Chennai to manage end-to-end posting tasks. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in payment posting, strong typing, and proficiency with EOBs and both manual and automatic posting processes.

Candidates should be adept at identifying denial codes (RARC/CARC), handling patient payments, offsets, refunds, and recoupment. Knowledge of capitation, patient responsibility, and Medicaid-related adjustments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation with min 1yr into payment posting.
• Should have good typing skill.
• Reviewing EOBs with accuracy.
• Experience with Manual and Auto Posting (835 Remits).
• Identify denial codes (RARC & CARC) with denial reason.
• Analytical skill to post checks to patients.
• Knowledge of patients payments.
• Knowledge of Offset and Refund.
• Knowledge in Recoupment and Over Payment/Under Payments.
• Knowledge in Sequestration and Interest/payment penalties.
• Knowledge in Cross Over (Piggy Bag).
• Knowledge of Capitation Agreement Payments.
• Knowledge of Patients Responsibility (Copay, Coinsurance & Deductible).
• Knowledge of PAYMENT FORMULAS.
• Knowledge of Participating and Non-Participating Provider.
• Know about HSA and HRA payments.
• Know difference between Paid to Patient and Paid to Provider.
• Know Small Balance Write Off.
• Know Adjustment/Write Off if Medicaid is secondary.
• Know Workers Comp and No Fault.

• Should have the knowledge to identify denial codes (RARC & CARC) with denial reason & Correspondence.
• Should have analytical skill to post the checks to the correct patients.
• Should have knowledge in Patients payments.
• Should have knowledge Offset and Refund.
• Should have knowledge in Recoupment and Over Payment/Under Payments.
• Should have knowledge in Sequestration and Interest payment/Penalty payments.
• Should have knowledge in Cross Over (Piggy Bag).
