IG Group in Bengaluru seeks a Payments Operations Analyst to manage deposits and withdrawals across methods, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth client funding.

You will join a multi-functional team, addressing payment queries, and staying updated on payment trends while working AU hours (2:30am–12:30pm IST) in a hybrid office setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, detail, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient processing of deposits in accordance with compliance.
• Processing and release of withdrawals across payment methods (Card, Bank, PayPal).
• Enforcement of anti-money laundering controls, including verification of payment methods.
• Administration of payment and banking portals to enable processing.
• Problem-solving complex payments issues and errors.
• Handling daily reports, bonuses/tax, and audits.
• Cross-departmental communication to handle queries.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to boost performance.

As you will be part of a multi - functional team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure client's funding and withdrawals occur smoothly to and from their trading account.

Your role in the Team’s Success

You will be proactive with any queries and requests from clients to ensure they are answered and ensure you maintain up to date with changes to regulations and new payment trends and to date with all things Payments at IG.

What you’ll do

• Accurate and efficient processing of deposits into IG in accordance with international and local compliance regulations
• Processing and release of withdrawals across IG’s different payment methods such as Card, Bank and PayPal
• Regulation and enforcement of IG’s strict anti-money laundering controls, including the verification of bank statement and payment methods
• Administration of IG’s payment and banking portals to enable effective processing
• Problem-solve complex issues and errors to resolve payment queries
• Handling of daily reports, posting of bonuses/tax and audits
• Cross-departmental communication to facilitate effective handling of queries
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise team performance.

What you’ll need for this role

Although desirable you don't need a background in finance to apply. We'll provide on-the-job training and support to help ensure you quickly pick up the necessary knowledge and understanding. What you will need is a genuine interest in working in financial markets, along with motivation levels as impressive as your aptitude for numbers and attention to detail – plus:

• A degree-level education
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
