Corporate Actions Analyst

Role Overview

The Corporate Actions team operates within the Trading and Operations division, handling comprehensive end‑to‑end processing of all corporate actions and stock transfers, encompassing both mandatory and voluntary events for our global business.

Responsibilities

• Process all corporate action events—both mandatory and voluntary—within IG systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Send client emails describing corporate action events and election choices.
• Collate client instructions and prepare client bookings.
• Post client dividends across product ranges in different IG systems.
• Handle synthetic dividend reconciliation.
• Handle client queries and queries from the helpdesk.
• Update static data within IG internal systems accurately.
• Resolve reconciliation issues arising from corporate action events.
• Use data analytical tools to analyze data, generate insightful reports, and streamline processes through automation.
• Meet monthly KPIs and targets.
• Support the implementation of various projects within Corporate Actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years experience in financial services with a strong understanding of Corporate Actions.
• Strong data analytical skills; proficiency in Tableau is desired.
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including Macros, VBA, and Power Query.
• Familiarity with the risks associated with corporate action events, including client money.
• Excellent attention to detail.
