JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Mumbai is seeking a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV to manage payment processing across institutions, cardholders, and merchants, ensuring secure transactions.

You will support sanctions screening, KYC, and reconciliation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to APAC/EMEA/WHEM schedules to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or related field.
• Experience in back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector for a year.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible across APAC/EMEA/WHEM shift and weekend as required to support the client.

As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within Payments Operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.

• Identify and escalation issues in a prompt and timely manner which may impact service
• Strengthen and monitor control environment
• Ensure all deliverables are completed correctly and issued to clients per timetable
• Provide timely information to stakeholders and clients on pending requests and possible impacts to other processes
• Maintain control of the environment in respect of JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and the local regulatory rules

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Good fresher candidates with Finance understanding of Payments in International markets can be considered
• Experience in back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or it's processing arm/private sector bank/public sector for a year
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Should be flexible across APAC/EMEA/WHEM shift and weekend as required to support the client.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with Sanctions, Screening, Due diligence, International Payment Processing Operations, AML-KYC, preferred
• Working knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions and practices is preferred
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence
