Qualifications

  • Excellent prior custody & fund services, markets or prime brokerage operational experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments.
  • Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in Custody.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS excel and an ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of daily business as usual (BAU) tasks/activities in the most efficient and highly control framework oriented environment.
  • Exhibit knowledge on Signature Validation for Trade/ Payment instructions received from Clients.
  • Clarity about beneficiary account details to verify during Callback for Outgoing payments from JPM.
  • Publishing / Review of Daily/weekly performance metrics pertaining to the function and to identify and track reasons for deviation from agreed levels or expected behaviour.
  • Ensure follow up and escape for all ageing items.
  • Ensure timely review and certification of CFS Middle Office Authentication function Procedures, Operating Service Agreements and Business Resiliency plans.
  • Review and improve on productivity benchmarks on an ongoing basis.
  • Active participation in multiple forums such as Product, Client Service, Strategy to analyse the impact basis market changes and to drive Tech Initiatives to meet client expectation and internal functional goals.
  • Create strong resiliency & backups within the team by active involvement in day to day activities and training initiatives.
  • Work in partnership with Operations Control Management / Risk teams for performing QA testing’s, MIS and Internal and External Audits.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies, and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.
