Job summary

IQVIA Bengaluru is seeking an Analytics with Japanese Language Specialist to analyze longitudinal patient datasets, support global stakeholders, and deliver actionable insights across projects.

You will work with SAS, Python, R, SQL, and contribute to automation, lean initiatives, and CoE growth while collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in Patient Analytics, US Healthcare.
• JLPT N2 certification or higher preferred; must possess strong Japanese speaking skills and proven experience in client handling.
• Knowledge and understanding of the programming and reporting processes and frameworks.
• Proficiency in SAS, Python, R & SQL; ability to create macros or reusable snippets.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Analytics with Japanese Language Specialist

You will be involved in analyzing longitudinal patient datasets & will help our clients in making fact-based decisions. You will be working in close collaboration with different stakeholders, and RWA teams across the globe. Your day-to-day activity will include working on regular standard projects & Ad hoc requests from our clients and generate actionable insights. Responsibilities:

• Use efficient techniques on Longitudinal patient data, EMR data & claims datasets and generate meaningful insights.


• Support junior team members in their ramp up period and provide necessary support from data & analytical perspectives

• Support in Blue-chip activities like automation, apply Lean techniques in projects and generate innovative ideas for the growth of CoE

Candidates with JLPT N2 level or above are preferred, along with strong Japanese communication skills and experience in client interaction and handling

Qualification:

• Require good analytical & problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.


• 1-3 year’s experience in Patient Analytics, US Healthcare


• Knowledge and understanding of the programming and reporting processes and frameworks.


• JLPT N2 certification or higher preferred; must possess strong Japanese speaking skills and proven experience in client handling


• Ability to draw algorithms to successfully transform transactional data to summarized data assets


• Proficiency in SAS\\Python\\R & SQL. Candidate is expected to have knowledge of creating macros or reusable programming snippets. Around 4-7 years of work experience is desired.


• Active participation to generate ideas to create better and optimal solution of our analytical problems and be a Business or Technical subject matter expert


• Team Management experience is a plus.


• Ability to successfully work together with a (“virtual”) team (including international teams as required) as well as independently.


• Effective time management to meet daily metrics and team objectives.


• Ability to manage competing priorities and flexibility to change.


• Business/operational skills that include customer focus, commitment to quality management, and problem solving.
